The Slate Grey Simplicity Earthurn is a handmade biodegradable urn which is perfect for an eco-friendly burial of the cremated remains of a departed loved one. The shape of this urn also makes it ideal for scattering ashes, and it can also be used for their temporary storage. The Simplicity Earthurn can be carried on an aeroplane if you need to travel with the ashes.

An ancient harvesting technique is used to remove the bark from the Mulberry tree to make the paper used in this biodegradable urn. The process does not damage the tree which continues to live and grow unharmed. The resulting paper has a soft feel and texture. This Simplicity Earthurn has an unusual slate grey finish

This urn is formed in two halves which close together perfectly. Pull them apart to reveal the biodegradable bag in which the ashes must be placed for burial. When buried in the ground this biodegradable urn will naturally decompose over a period of time. The exact time is dependant on soil and climate conditions. This is a Green Burial product.
