The simple design of this wooden urn which is made from solid Beech wood allows you to really appreciate the loveliness of the fine wood. The dark oil that is applied after turning, gives this urn a luxurious, dark glow, and allows you to appreciate the fine variegations in the veins of this lovely wood.

To insert the ashes inside, the top unscrews smoothly and easily, yet when you replace it you will find that it fits so perfectly that you can be confident that the ashes will be safe inside. However, for added security you may decide to glue the lid in place with wood glue on the threads of the lid.

You may choose to keep this lovely urn in your home and enjoy its beauty. Or you may decide to bury the urn with the ashes of your loved one in a special place. In this case, the urn will slowly decompose naturally in the ground and so gradually release the precious ashes into the earth.

Please note that this wooden urn does not come with a presentation box or bag. We also recommend keeping the ashes inside a sealed plastic bag within the urn if you intend to keep the urn at home.
