This Oak urn is lovingly turned from solid wood to create a classic natural-looking urn. A black enamel with a silver grain running through it enhances the natural grain of the wood and gives a deep, rich, and profound finish.

This urn will look lovely on your mantelpiece and is sure to bring you comfort knowing that your loved one rests peacefully in this special place. Alternatively, if you choose to inter the urn it will decompose over time and so release the ashes back to the earth. As this urn is made from natural components it is the perfect choice for a Green burial of someone who loved nature.

Inserting the ashes is simple as the lid screws on and off easily. When in place, the tight fit ensures that the ashes are kept safe within. However, some people choose to add some wood glue onto the threads when they replace the lid, and so seal the ashes inside the urn permanently.

Please note that this wooden urn does not come with a presentation box or bag. We also recommend keeping the ashes inside a sealed plastic bag within the urn if you intend to keep the urn at home.
